# Username & Password Authentication ├─ Create a Sub-User Account
### Username and Password Authentication Steps
#### Method 1:
1. Log in to your Rapidproxy Dashboard.
2. Navigate to:\
**Proxies → Unlimited Residential Proxies → Use Proxy → Proxy Generator**
3. Select **\[Username Authentication]**
4. Click **\[Create]**
5. In the **\[Add User]** pop-up window, enter the required information:
**Username\Password\Status\Traffic Cap\Remark**
6. After completing all fields, click **Confirm** to create the user successfully.
#### Method 2:
1. Log in to your Rapidproxy Dashboard.
2. Navigate to:\
**Proxies → Unlimited Residential Proxies → Use Proxy → User Management**
3. Click **\[Add User]**
4. In the **\[Add User ]** pop-up window, enter the required information:
**Username\Password\Status\Traffic Cap\Remark**
5. After completing all fields, click **\[Confirm]** to create the user successfully.
