# API Configuration & Retrieval

## **Access the Configuration Page**

1. Log in to your Rapidproxy Dashboard.
2. Navigate to:\
   **Proxies → Unlimited Residential Proxies → Use Proxy → Proxy Generator**

### Configure API Location

1. Select a server from the **\[Select a Server]** **dropdown menu**.

2. Under the **\[Authentication Method]** section, choose \[**Whitelisted IPs]**.

3. Under **\[Continent / Country]**, select your desired target location.

### Configure Result Quantity

1. Locate the **\[Extract Quantity]** field.Enter the number of proxy results you would like to generate.
2. The value entered determines how many proxy endpoints will be displayed in the **Result Output** section.

**Note:** After completing the configuration on the left panel, click **Generate Proxy**. The specified number of proxy results will then be displayed in the **Result Output** section.

### Configure Session Settings

Rapidproxy Unlimited Residential Proxies support **Sticky Sessions**, allowing the same residential IP to be maintained for a configurable period of time.

#### To configure session persistence:

1. Navigate to the **\[Session Settings]** section.Enter your preferred session duration.
2. The assigned IP address will remain unchanged throughout the configured session period.

### Generate and Retrieve the API Link

1. After completing all configuration settings, click **\[Generate Proxy]**. A unique API endpoint will be automatically generated and displayed in the **\[Generate API Link]** field.

2. Click the **\[Copy]** button next to the generated link to copy the API URL.
