Octobrowser

Step 1: Obtain Proxy Information

Log in to the RapidProxy dashboard, go to【Static Residential lP Management】, and obtain the proxy information:

IP Address : Port : Username : Password

Step 2: Configure the Proxy in octobrowser

1: Create a new proxy configuration

Go to the top navigation bar and click on【Proxies】, then select【Add Proxy】to start configuring the proxy. In the【My proxies】section, assign an easily recognizable Title for your proxy (e.g., Rapid).

2: Configure proxy information

In the pop-up proxy setup window, locate the【Proxy】section and fill in the following details:

• Protocol: Choose【HTTP】as the proxy type (RapidProxy supports HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 protocols).

• Copy and paste the proxy details obtained from RapidProxy (including IP, Port, Username, and Password) into the corresponding fields in OctoBrowser.

3: Test the proxy connection

Once the configuration is complete, click on【Check Proxy】to test the connection. If the status shows a successful connection, it means the proxy is working properly. You can then click on【Confirm】to save this configuration.

4: Bind the proxy to a browser environment

Return to the【Profiles】page and click on【Create Profile】. In the configuration window that appears:

• In the【General】 section, enter the【Profile name】for your browser environment (e.g., rapidproxy);

• Click on the【proxy】option and select the previously configured【Rapid】;

• Click on【Create Profile】to finish the setup.
