# Change Account Password

This guide explains how to update the password for your Rapidproxy account. Keeping your password up to date helps maintain account security.

### **1. Access Your Account Settings**

Before you can change your password, make sure you are logged in to your Rapidproxy account:

1. Open your web browser and go to [**https://www.rapidproxy.io/user/login**](https://www.rapidproxy.io/user/login?utm_source=chatgpt.com).
2. Enter the email and password you used to register or sign in.
3. Once logged in, you’ll be redirected to your dashboard.

### **2. Navigate to Password Settings**

Once you’re logged in:

1. Select Account Settings on the left side of the dashboard.
2. On the account settings page, you will see "**Password Reset**".

### **3. Change Your Password**

In the **Password Reset** section:

1. Enter your **current password**.
2. Enter your **new password**.
3. Re-enter the new password to confirm it.
4. Click the **Update Password** button to apply the changes.

Your password will be updated immediately once the new password is saved.
